County road through the Fort Heiman Unit is Closed to Vehicles Past the Pavilion
Fort Heiman is located at 682 Fort Heiman Road, New Concord KY. Due to poor conditions of county roads, the County has posted the loop road closed to vehicles past the park pavilion. Pedestrian access is permitted.
Facilities will close for Christmas and New Year's holidays. Park will be accessible for visitors.
The park Visitor Center, historic Dover Hotel and Carriage House, and park Comfort Station will be closed for the Christmas and New Year's holidays: December 25 and January 1. The National Park grounds, trails, and roads will be open, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.
Fort Donelson NB Road Access on Winter Schedule Beginning Sunday, November 3, 2024
From November 3, 2024, through March 9, 2025, vehicles may access park roads from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm for the winter season. Pedestrian Access remains from dawn to dusk.
Facilities will close for Thanksgiving Day. Park will be accessible for visitors.
