Due to the narrow roadway & tight turn, RVs, mobile homes, charter buses, delivery trucks, or vehicles with trailers are prohibited from the crest of Monument Hill. Check for information about parking at the Visitor Center upon your arrival.

Be aware in your planning that I-40 in NC and I-26 in TN have been compromised due to the effects of Hurricane Helene. In addition, the Erwin Hwy (107) bridge leading into Greeneville was destroyed and is not expected to reopen until sometime in 2025.
National Cemetery Arrangement Pick Up
Park staff will be removing all holiday-themed wreaths, floral blankets, and other memorabilia from the Andrew Johnson National Cemetery on Saturday, January 25th. Please pick up items you wish to keep. Non-perishable memorabilia will be held for 30 days.
Altered Homestead Schedule
Please be aware in your planning that morning tours of the president's Homestead will not be available the mornings of February 20 and March 7, 2025, due to visiting education groups.
