Pet Policy
Pets are not allowed inside the visitor center at Aztec Ruins, nor are they allowed on the archaeological trail through Aztec West. Pets are welcome in the parking lot, the picnic area, and along the Old Spanish Trail. Service animals are the exception.
Closed 12/25/24 and 1/1/25
Aztec Ruins NM will be closed on Wednesday, December 25 and Wednesday, January 1 for the holidays. No access is allowed for any reason on those days. The grounds will reopen on December 26 and January 2 at 7:00am and the visitor center at 9:00am.
