Steel Creek Area Closed for Water Line Construction
Starting August 12th, Steel Creek Area will be closed during replacement of the water line. This includes the Steel Creek campground and river access. Trails that lead to the area will remain open. The work is projected to last up to September 20th.
Lower Tyler Bend River Access Closed for Renovation Project
Beginning Monday, August 12th, the Lower Tyler Bend River Access will be closed to facilitate the renovation process. The Upper Access will remain open. The Tyler Bend Campground will also remain open.

Steel Creek Water System Out of Order
The water system at Steel Creek is currently out of order. Until further notice, all flush restrooms at Steel Creek are closed. Vault and pit toilets are available for use. Visitors must bring their own drinking water. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Steel Creek Phone Lines Offline
Steel Creek's phone lines are down due to road construction on Steel Creek Road. Please call Tyler Bend Visitor Center at 870-439-2502 for park information.
Parking is not permitted on the Kyles Landing Road (County Road 56)
Parking will no longer be permitted on the road to allow space for emergency vehicles to safely enter the park. There will be ‘No Parking’ signs placed along the Kyles Landing Road, also known as County Road 56.
Spring Creek Landing Closed to Vehicle-Assisted Launches
The Spring Creek Landing has been closed to vehicle-assisted launches. Watercraft may still be put in and take out at this point, but must be hand carried to and from the parking area. This is to ensure the safety of visitors and avoid continued erosion.
